A WHALING TRIPTYCH
The three individual panels of the Whaling Triptych were composed to form a single work, with forms, colors and story progressing from left to right. The three phases of the hunt are shown by three different ships, ranging from the Arctic to the middle latitudes and then to the tropics. All are individually highlighted prints produced in 1977.
