The Seventy-four Gun Ship, Aquarelle, 1987. Portrait in two views of a French ship of the line, c. 1780, painted for Jean Boudriot's four-volume treatise of the same title. Litho image 12½" x 21" on 19½" x 24½" sheet.


Sloop PROVIDENCE. John Paul Jones, pursued by HM frigate SOLEBY and firing a swivel cannon, oil on canvas, 1985. The action depicts Jones's dramatic escape from a Royal Navy frigate on September 1, 1776. Litho image 21" x 26" on 25" x 29" sheet.



USS CONSTITUTION defeating CYANE and LEVANT, February 20, 1815, Aquarelle, 1993. Depicting "Old Ironsides'" encounter with two Royal Navy ships off the Canary Islands in a battle by moonlight. Litho image 12½" x 20½" on 18" x 24½" sheet.


The Bicentennial Sail of USS CONSTITUTION, July 21, 1997, Aquarelle, 1997. The artist was on hand for this event, as a viewer on the first day, and aboard 'Old Ironsides' on the second. A diptych portrait of the ship in two views.
